Linda changes little in intensity

At 800 am PDT/1500 UTC the center of Tropical Storm Linda was located near latitude 15.2 north – longitude 128.4 west or about 1320 miles/2120 km west-southwest of the southern tip of Baja California. Linda is moving toward the west near 2 mph/4 km/hr. A slow turn to the northwest should begin later today. Maximum sustained winds are near 60 mph/95 km/hr with higher
gusts. No significant change in strength is forecast during the next 24 hours. Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 70 miles/110 km from the center.
