Southwest of Manzanillo Mexico

Date September 14, 2009

A large area of disturbed weather located a few hundred miles southwest of Manzanillo Mexico is producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions appear favorable for
development of this system as it moves generally west-northwestward during the next day or two. There is a medium chance, 30 to 50 percent of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.
