Olaf heading northward - turn toward the northeast (direction Baja) by Saturday evening expected

Tropical Storm "Olaf" heading northward maintaining tropical storm strength at 800 am PDT/1500 UTC the center of Tropical Storm Olaf was located near latitude 23.1 north-longitude 117.5 west or about 485miles/780 km west of the southern tip of Baja California. Olaf is moving<!--more--> toward the north near 10 mph/17 km/hr. A gradual turn toward the north-northeast and an increase in forward speed are expected during the next 24 hours followed by a turn toward the northeast by Saturday evening.
Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph/75 km/hr with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is expected to begin by tonight.
Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 115 miles/185 km from the center.
