Linda is moving toward the north-northwest near 9 mph...15 km/hr and this general motion with some decrease in forward speed is forecast during the next 48 hours.
Maximum sustained winds are near 85 mph/140 km/hr with higher gusts. Gradual weakening is expected over the next couple of days.
