A small area of low pressure located about 175 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of Baja California is moving west-northwestward at around 10 mph. The associated shower activity is minimal at this time and there is a low chance less than 30 percent of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.
