Scattered showers and thunderstorms

A broad area of low pressure located a couple hundred miles west of Manzanillo Mexico is producing scattered showers and thunderstorms. (+/- 320 miles south from Cabo San Lucas - 420 miles La Paz) Upper-level winds are only marginally favorable for development, and there is a low chance, 10 percent, Of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours as it moves erratically. Elsewhere, tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 48 hours.
